Spring JSC Issue is Published
April 23, 2025
We are pleased to announce that the Spring issue of the Journal of Sociology and Christianity has been published: Vol. 15 No. 1 (2025).
This issue opens with an editorial by Dr. Dennis Hiebert on decolonizing social science. Featured research articles include a qualitative descriptive study on how young adults who do not identify as Christians respond to faith-sharing on social media; a rebuttal to a previous article linking rape, suicide, and the rise of non-religiosity; and an exploration of the concept of Satan within Jewish-Christian society and its influence on societal organization and structures. This edition also includes thought-provoking essays and a timely book review.
The JSC, published bi-annually in April and October, is a peer-reviewed academic journal published jointly by Omega Graduate School and the Christian Sociological Association.
