Students
The Christian Sociological Association (CSA) has a rich history of engaging the minds of both scholars and students. Our mission is to provide a forum where Christian sociologists can explore the implications of the Christian faith for the thinking and practice of sociology. Engaging with sociology from a Christian perspective deepens our understanding of society and enriches our faith.
Attending an academic conference at CSA is an invaluable opportunity for students to enhance their academic and professional journey. Our conferences offer a place for personal and professional development through concentrated discussions integrating the sociological vocation with the Christian calling. They provide a unique opportunity for Christian fellowship with individuals who share our disciplinary commitment, creating a stimulating and supportive environment.
Our members and conference attendees represent various Christian backgrounds, and CSA strives to foster an inclusive and respectful environment. Additionally, our conferences foster a network for Christian sociologists, allowing for social support, collaboration, and dialogue. By participating in these events, students can connect with scholars, professors, and peers, gaining insights and building relationships that will benefit their careers and personal growth in meaningful ways.

Our Journal
Students are encouraged to submit their work to our peer-reviewed journal, the Journal of Sociology and Christianity, to share their research and contribute to scholarly discourse. The Journal of Sociology and Christianity (ISSN 2572-4088) is a peer-reviewed, academic publication designed to provide a forum for the latest research and commentary relative to the intersection of Christianity and society. The journal is published bi-annually in April and October, jointly by Omega Graduate School and the Christian Sociological Association. Founded in 2011, it was originally entitled the Journal of the Sociological Integration of Religion and Society (JSIRS) until Volume 6, Number 2 (October 2016).
